New Year, New…Box of Tissues?

I opened 2018 with a fresh face (and fever) for a fresh year.

Literally glowing with fever.

Le Sigh.

Luckily, we’ve still got 3 more action-packed days in Hawai’i so I don’t have to feel too bad about spending a day in jammies picking at take-out. We’ve had a number of active days since getting here and I think everyone appreciated a little downtime.
I didn’t make any resolutions for the new year because I’ve been making a running list all year round – create a brand kit for my social, build better content, teach B how to take decent photos of me (lawd, hear my prayers), learn how to edit and produce vids and gear up for starting my own YouTube channel (whew!). On the personal front I want to dive deeper into nutrition. So many people I’ve come across have questions about veganism and I want to give them good, solid advice – not just a list of things (oreos!) that they didn’t realize (swedish fish) were vegan. I want to get better at making time for my continued education and learn new skills – because my list of unread bookmarks is getting crazy long. I might, MIGHT try a new hairstyle…but that’s a stretch at best.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I’m gonna do yoga…more. Not committing to a frequency.

I’m going to say ‘I love you’ more. Because, frankly, I’m not good at it, some people don’t realize ‘I made brownies’ = ‘I love you’ and sometimes people need to hear it.

Whether you made resolutions or you’re an ongoing list maker like myself I wish you all the best in the new year. #happynewyear
